"How do I know what I NEED to know?"

We get flooded with so much information during pregnancy, it can be extremely overwhelming. Focusing on what works specifically for you and your family is a great way to know what information to absorb. You don't know what you don't know. Asking cultivating questions like these can help parents to discover what they need to know to be prepared for the birth of their child.

What do I already know about coping

with pain or discomfort?

What do I need to learn/practice?

What is the purpose/source of pain in birth?

Do I understand the difference between experiencing discomfort and suffering

in birth?

How do I stay in the present moment?

  • Not thinking about the discomfort I just experienced (past)

  • Not thinking about the discomfort to come (future)
