Birthing from Within's Childbirth Educator Certification Program
FALL 2021
-A modern take on childbirth preparation and support. This course teaches educators how to encourage families to tap into their inner knowledge about birth in addition to providing
evidence-based information about pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. The course also teaches a compassionate, non-biased, and solution-focused approach to childbirth education and guidance that families will find useful throughout their journey. The training includes strategies for intentionally listening to clients, and meeting the family where they are. Pain-coping practices and methods for preventing/reducing birth trauma are also taught in the course as well as ways for partners and families to stay connected and present during birth.
